Navigating the financial side of therapy is a valid part of your decision-making process. I believe in complete transparency regarding my fees and insurance policies, so you can focus entirely on your healing.Complimentary Consultation
Choosing to invest in therapy is an act of self-care. Because finding the right "fit" is so important, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and answer any questions you might have about my approach before we begin.
I am currently in-network with the following insurance carriers:
Aetna
Cigna
Quest Behavioral Health
Please Note: Copays and coverage can vary significantly based on your specific plan. I highly recommend contacting your insurance carrier directly prior to our first session to verify your specific coverage and any out-of-pocket costs you may be responsible for.
If you are covered by an insurance plan that provides out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a "Superbill." This is a detailed receipt containing all the information your insurance company needs to process a claim for reimbursement, if applicable.
I use Ivy Pay for all billing. It is a secure, HIPAA-compliant service that allows you to pay using your preferred debit, credit, or HSA/FSA cards. Payments are typically billed automatically after each session, removing the administrative hassle so we can focus our time together entirely on your goals.
Equitable Access & Sliding Scale:
I believe that therapy should be accessible to those who need it. I offer a sliding scale on a limited basis for those whose financial circumstances make it difficult to afford the full fee.
**Current Status: I have a few sliding scale slots available at this time. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to discuss your situation, and we can explore whether we can find a rate that makes your care manageable.
Cancellation Policy:
I value our time together, and I know that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions canceled within that 24-hour window are subject to a $75 fee. If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to ask.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance—or who are not using insurance—an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
If you have questions about rates or insurance that weren’t answered here, please reach out. I am happy to help you understand the process so you can feel confident taking this next step.
